Scotland

Scotland, from the dramatic slopes of Glen Coe to the quiet shores of hidden lochs, the land transforms with the turning year. Mists weave through mountain passes, winter snows soften the rugged peaks, and autumn colours set the hills ablaze. Each season offers its own magic - a shifting tapestry of light, weather, and wild beauty waiting to be captured.

Scotland's landscapes have an extraordinary sense of scale. Rugged mountains, remote valleys, expansive skies and long stretches of open country create scenes that can feel both powerful and wonderfully quiet. Yet it's often the changing light and weather that give these places their real character.

This collection of Scottish landscape photography explores the natural beauty and varied atmosphere of Scotland, from dramatic mountain scenery to the smaller details that catch the eye along the way.

I'm drawn to the moments when the landscape seems to come into its own: light breaking through heavy cloud, shadows moving across a hillside, or mist settling into a distant valley.  These photographs are a personal collection of the scenery and moments that make Scotland such a compelling place to explore with a camera.
