Iceland

Iceland, the land breathes in shades of fire and ice. Glaciers spill into black-sand shores, waterfalls carve silver ribbons through mossy cliffs, and volcanic plains stretch toward horizons painted in shifting light. Herds of Icelandic horses roam freely across windswept fields, their manes dancing in the breeze like living echoes of the island’s untamed soul.

In the distance, the earth sometimes awakens - molten fire spilling into the night sky, painting clouds in crimson and gold. Every moment feels fleeting - a dance between shadow and sun, wind and stillness, creation and renewal. Through my lens, I seek to capture not just the view, but the quiet pulse of this wild island - the taste of salt and snow in the air, the hum of the earth beneath your feet, and the timeless stories whispered by land, beast, and flame.

This gallery brings together my Iceland landscape photographs taken in 2010 during the Eyjafjallajökull eruption, capturing the raw beauty, the ash trail and the ash fall out and varied textures of this remarkable country.
